I agree and at the same time disagree with this quote. I agree because sometimes some people want to people with someone that is going to be sucessful in their lifes so that, the person sucessing can give him/her guidees and tips on what to do and where to go. But i disagree because sometimes some people just want to be "popular" for all the dumb actions they do and they get known for that and they don't even pay alot atention on there academics and they just want to fool around. That is why i agree and disagree with this quote.
Personally, i do agree with this quote because you have to know what you are going to do for your self and already know the plan when you take the role of a leader. If you can't already do it your self then you shouldn't take that role to lead a person or persons
i agree because if no one wants to follow you than theres no point. you cant be a leader. you have to be convincing to encourage people to follow you. you have to know what you want and what youre doing in order to be sucessful in leading.for example. like most people wouldnt want to follow someone thats going to an important place at a certain time but theyre not sure how to get there.
if its something imporant that they have to be in time for i think most people would rather follow someone who does know how to get there
I agree becuase if you want to be a leader you need to know where your going and help people so that they know where there going. This isn't so much about popularity becuase to be a leader and to be popular and toatlly different things. Popular is to have everyone like but they won't follow you and to be a leader is when you have followers you don't even know your a leader until when somebody tells you your a great leader and then in you head you think hey that is kind if true. well thats what i think.
i agree and disagree with this quote because people want to follow someone who knows the right way and knows what path to take. they want to follow someone who knows is might be succesful and become someone. the leader could be showing them the way to success. i also disagree because some people might to learn from their own mistakes and want to learn by themselves. some people also may think that following is not good. also because if you follow someone, you may want to do exactly what that person wants to do and you won't be unique or special in your own way! you might be something your not!

I agree with this quote because people have to like you to follow you, and they're not going to follow a dumb person who doesn't know what he's doing. to be a leader you have to be smart and successful in life. many people follow rich and famous people just for money and fame. but there are some people that do dumb things and become popular like at school, some people do really dumb things and they think they're funny and they keep doing it to try to become a leader.
I agree that this is the right quote because i have experienced this due to the fact that i have been in online teams and around 2 or 3 of them have disbanded due to their leader not knowing what to do or because they were never there when needed. in result i recently took over a team due to a dispute between our team leader and our vice team leader for that i was runner up to be new leader and my vice leader was a person i chose who knew what to do and was there all the time. That's the reason i agree with this quote. a leader isnt a leader if he isnt there to lead and if they are lost.

i agree with this quote because if you are following a person then you would want to make sure that they are going to be someone in life and lead you into a good future. you wouldn't want someone who is going to prison in their future so you have to make sure you following the right person. if you follow the wrong person then he is going to get you into a lot of trouble and he is going to make you feel guilty for a lot of things you should'nt have done. you have to make sure of who you are following in life isnt going to mess up your future. To succeed in life you need a good role model.

I agree with the quote because it's true to be a leader you have to be very important in certain ways. You have to do good things in order to succeed. To be a leader you have to know where you are going so then everybody will follow to see you are responisible for where you are leading them. I guess what the quote of the guy means in order other people do the same ways you have to demonstrate it first and people will follow.
People first need a leader so they be sure and comfortable for everybody in life to see he is imporant and he knows where he is taking for the followers. A leader that is not a leader that doesn't have any follower is because he is not leading them the right way. He is not doing something right where people don't trust him and he will never succeed with the wrong paths, ways, or directions he is leading or taking.

i agree with this auote because if you are a leader and you want people to follow you,they wont follow you if your not sure where you are going. you have to be confident and know your are a leader. people wpuld follow you if they think you are confident. people would want to follow you if you are a succesful person.they you suceed waht you do ,so they would want to follow you.

I Agree with this quote because to be a leader you should know what your doing, and for people to follow you it would have to be for a reason why they would want to follow you. Being a leader is always something you want to be!

I agree because when you are following someone you expect them to know where they are going. No one wants to follow someone who is lost or confused and doesn’t know what they are going to do because you would also make the followers be like you. The people who are following are expecting something good out of you because you might be someone they look up to and expect success. I agree with the quote because nobody would like to follow someone who doesn't have a path to follow or somehwere to head. If that person is going nowhere, they are going to lead the people who want to follow that person nowhere. many people follow others because they seem to be well known or popular and that person may not even be planning on doing something, but those poeple follow not because the are leaders, but because of popularity or publicity. For example,if someone is going to do something that doesn't make sense and will make a fool of themselves, nobody would follow that person and make a fool of themselves too. If someone has a plan and are ready to take over another group of people, that group of people is going to accept that leader because they know that that person knows where he or she is headed. If someone wants to be a leader, they need to have a plan and direction of where they are going to lead. Unlike peple, sheep follow a herd wherever it goes, and that isn't a smart choice. Following someone who has a plan is a smart choice.
I agree with quote because nobody wants to follow someone who has no clue where s/he is going. If you are following someone who doesn't know where to go, that person will probably send you the wrong way.For example if you are following someone who's about to jump off of a cliff I can assure you that, that person doesn't know where s/he is going. Also, some people follow others because of popularity. Just because someone is popular doesn't mean the know what they are doing. Therefore, it is really important to be your own leader for two reasons, number one to be dependent of only yourself and your actions and number two, to not go through the process of picking the wrong person as a leader.

i agree with this quote because people want to follow people who have great knowledge and someone who knows things. Being a leader shows people you can be better than people who follow other people, it shows you can be your own person and you dont have to do what other people do, just to make people think your cool.Like they always say "be your own self because everyone else is taken." I do not agree with this quote because sometimes in life you don’t know exactly where you’re going and you’re not always going to know. Sometimes it’s better to act in the present then to wait and plan something out. There are some leaders who simply act on instinct and listens to their gut. In life you’re not always going to know where you’re going but it’s good to keep in mind that wherever you’re going it should always be moving forward. Sometimes you just have to trust someone to know where they are going. It’s like when you take the bus. You don’t ask him where he’s going you just have to trust that he’s going to end up where you need to be at.

I agree with this quote because people want to follow someone who knows what they want and know how to get there. because i don't think someone is going to want to follow someone that doesn't have a clear image of were there going. for example when people vote for a president they vote for the one that convinced them that there going to get to the top and be a good country to live in. not the one who doesn't even know why he/she wants to be a president and what there going to do when they are there.tats why i agree with this quote.

I agree with this quote because its true no one wants to follow a someone who doesnt know where they'er going. Its like following a blind man, thinking you'll end up where you want to. But a leader has to set goals, and has to set himself to accomplish those goals. I do certainly agree with this quote because in order to be a leader you have to be able to giude people in the correct direction and not just hitchhike to some far off land. In order to be a leader you have to know what you are doing, and set an example of what it is to be a good leader. For example no none is going to want to pair up with a person that has no experinece with what they are doing and doesn't care. The president makes people follow him and vote for him, why, well because he's a great guy who can lead the whole nation with his cabin because he was a leader in his time. I think being a leader takes alot of responsablity it depends in what yo are being a leader about. take for example if your a leader at your job it means your a manger and to be that leader you need to make sure that the followers are doing their jobs correctly. being a keader takes trust from your followers, they need to be able to trust that you are their to help them and guide them. so yes i agree that being to be a leader you need your follwers to know that you know what your doing and where your going.
i absolutely agree with this quote. if people don't follow you there is no way that you can be a follower. the only way that someone can be a follower is if they are going after something for a good reason. if someone doesnt know where they are going people are going to be doubting that person because they will most likely not be successful.
yes i agree with the quote. I agree because why would you want to follow someone that doesn't know what they are doing or where they are going. It is better wo follow someone whow does know what they are doing or where they are going. You tend to be more successful. If you follow someone who is doesn't have a job or is always getting into trouble, you are more likely to end up lik them. I agree with this quote because in order for you to be a leader, people will want to follow you. To be a leader you have to know what you're trying to do or where you're going. People aren't going to follow someone who doesn't know what he/she is doing. To be a leader you need to be a successful and a knowledgeable person. For example when a person doesn't how to do something, they are always going to try to find someone who knows how to do what they can't. The person isn't going to go and find help in another who doesn't know either.

I actually do agree with this quote because to be a leader you have to know where your going and know what you are doing. But, if you don't have a goal to lead to success, then who will follow you?For example, Martin Luther King was a great leader. Many people followed him because he had a big goal. I think the quote is allright why? I think its allright because if you want someone to follow you you must want them to like you and look up to you. To be a leader you must have the knowledge and courage and your followers must support you. If you people to follow you, you must be capable of demonstrating that you could be a leader. The next thing you must do is tell them where your going to lead them to and how will youi do it, and if theres any danger how will you protect them. I believe in this quote yes because if you want to be a leader you have to have a reason to support it. If you just become a leader and you do wrong things people don't want to follow that kind of person.Martin Luther King was a great leader, but his reason was to give blcks and whites equal rights. He wanted racism to stop.If you want to be a leader you need to have something for your followers to believe, support, and reason with what you are trying to lead.
I agree with this quote because you don't want to follow someone who doesn't know where their going because following them means your going to be involved in what they are doing. For example if they go down your going down with them. Its best to be a leader beacause you can get yourself out of your own situations you can go your own way without anyone stopping you because your a leader and not a follower and no one can take that away from you unless you let them
I agree that you SHOULD know where you are heading in life for others to want to follow you, but that is not always the case. I have noticed throughout my life that many people often decide to follow others just to make themselves look good or to somewhat "fit in". This won't usualy lead them to something good in life. I took this path in the past and I don't intend to do it again. People can't always depend on others to do things for them, we must all be leaders in life by being who we really are, not who we are pretending to be.
This quote is saying that you can't guide some one if you are lost. If you have set your goals and finally reach them then others would want to follow you. Not literally following you by walking next to you but they will look up to you and want to follow your footsteps. I agree with this quote because it is true. If you make a goal to graduate high school with honors, and you don't even get passed the ninth grade, no one is going to want to follow in your footsteps.
I agree with this quote because if you want to follow someone in life you must be sure if they are smart and they want to be someone in life and not just be some random person you dont know what they are going to do with there lifes. i kinda agree because why would anyone want to follow someone who doesn't know what they are doing. I also agree because someone wants to follow someone that is successful and that person can help another person being successful by showing them and giving them advice.for example if you want to go to a place but you don't know where its at then people get mad at you and they don't want to be with you anymore or go with you to places.

I agree with this saying because if you are a good leader and you know what your doing people are not just willing to follow you but s well as even act like you for an example my cousin graduated from college and has he masters degree i also would like to do that one and she even engourages and teach me some of the thigs she did or would have do to get to where she is now. i also agree because no one wonts to follow a person that doesnt know what they are doing or have a good mind set or even any type of goal in there life because they are most likely not going to go anywhere in life for example why would you won to follow someone who is a gang banger? Most of they time they end up getting killed and nothing ever really comes good from doing that.

i agree because people want to follow people who know what they atre doing. I strongly agree with this qoute. Becuase people who been in and out of foster homes sometimes be mest up. So they dont know what they wanna do so they follow somebody and if your a leader they're gonna follow you.
To be a leader you have to know where your going before you lead. When they see oh your good and all and oing good they want to be like you . I agree with the statement that to be a leader you must know were your going. I feel this way because why would people want to follow after some one who has no clue on what they are doing. If I was a leader of a group, and I told my group lets go this way and we will be to school in 10 minutes, and they all come now my group and I are all late because of me. Its not good because that means I just caused my whole group to be late, but if I was a leader that knew what I was doing my group would have been on time and would never mind walking with me to school. This is shows that to be a leader you must have already planed what you will do to be that leader. So the main reason you have to know what you are doing is so no body is lost along with you.
Well honestly i pretty much do agree with this quote because it really is true in order for someone to be a leader you have to know where exactly you are going. And yea nobody wants to follow someone who dosen't know where he is going. The followers who don't know what they are doing want to follow someone who knows where they are going and taking their followers. For example, in a family, if a 10-year-old kid doesnt know what to sometimes so he looks up to his older brother, the 16-year-old, well he is a drug addict, alcoholic, a gangsta and is bald. I strongly dissagree! I dont see why anyone should follow someones else actions. I think you get on top by being you and no one else. People often try and be someone theyre not and start to change and act like someone else... I do agree with this quote because the message it is trying to get across is true. When people follow someone it’s because that person will usually know what they want. Part of being a leader is being able to know what your goals are and trying to accomplish them, setting an example for everyone else. For example, even on a simple thing like a group activity, you could usually tell who is the leader of the project. The leader is most likely the person who knows what they want to do and accomplish with the project. People tend to follow the person who knows what to do and do everything that the person tells them to do because they feel they could trust that what the person is telling them to do is correct.
