i agree because and disagree because Success does come before work in the dictionary and i disagree because if you dont suceed on anything you might not do good at working. And success is the thing that'll get you through everything because if you just keep on struguling on something you might not be good at it but if you suceed on something you'll be good on it. So that's why i agree and disagree.
I agree with this quote because success does not come automatically in life. It doesn’t just come to you, you have to go out and get it. You cannot achieve success without working for it. It takes hard work to achieve success at anything you do. I personally have not succeeded at anything without working for it. It’s just the way life works. Famous athletes out there were not born good at what they do they worked hard for it. They were successful and became professional athlete because of their hard work. Nothing comes easy in life. Mostly everything will require work if u wish to be successful at it.

I agree with this quote because its basically saying eduaction is a big part of your life that you need, in order to be successful.
Jobs require eduaction like in use of technology,reading,math,english,spanish,any job in America require people to know these things becaus e how are you going to have a job if you dont even know what to do.

I disagree with the quote because success comes after you do all of the hard work and effort to earn something very valuable. I guess success is something to prove that you worked so hard to show everybody that you have talent to get a good grade or to have a great job. In other words life is not easy and the only way somebody has success before they do the hard part is by cheating that's the only way. Their's no way any person has success before doing a great job or effort in it.Their's no person that came born already with success before trying or doing something else.
I agree becuase that probably is the only place where you can become succesful becuase you lean alot of new words and it makes you sound smarter. Also dictionaries have the spelling of the word and therefore it shows you how to spell the word. They are also important becuase they help you like when you don't know a word you just go and look it up to find the meaning. I know I do because when I'm reading a book and I don't know a word I just go and look it up and that day I just learned a new word. We become a little more succesful everytime we do that.

I agree with this quote because you have to work to be successful if you don’t work than you will not get paid. Also because say you already got you Masters Degree you won’t be successful until you start working because work is what gives you money. Also for example if we have a project at school you have to work hard to get an A and to be successful. I think it is true you have to work to be successful.

i agree and disagree at the same time because you can be good at work, but have a bad education.People might not like learning in school or being taught whats important, people just worry about what they shouldnt be worring about.As soon as people have a job they just worry about getting to work on time and everything else, but if it was school they probably wouldnt really care because they just think its school, they think its not so important. thats what i think..
the quote means that we cant be succesful without doing hard work. we cant suspect to be succeful without hard work beacuse had work is like practise for the real thing. we cant skip a step because maby we might mess up. for an example we cant do good on a math or any other subject that requires lots of thinking on a test. also we cant be a famous or good athleat without any practice. so for the quote means hardwork be for the success comes then you would look back and say wow all that practise paid off. thats wat the quote means to me.

i agree because dictionaries are educational and they teach you how to spell words so if you can't spell then you wouldnt be able to work because you wouldnt know how to speak properly and you can't get a job if you dont know how to speak. You can learn a lot of new word from the dictionary. They are useful for reading because sometimes you dont know what a word means so you can look it up and then you would understand it. A lot of people use dictionaries if they dont know what a word means. It would help them understand the word and help them, spell it.
i disagree to the qoute becuase successes comes at the end after you put in all the hardwork and effort that you can into something. you wont succesed if you take the easy way the only way is to go the hard way. after you try your hardest and you put everything that you can into it then successes will start rewarding you be throwing good opportunities in your way. for example you wont get a good grade on a test unless you put some effort into it and study for that test. this is why i disagrre with the qoute

In the dictionary success does come before work but in real life you have to work to have success. If you want to have a career as a doctor or anything else you don’t just become successful in the career, you work hard to earn your degree and show that you are successful. The quote makes sense but the meaning of the quote isn’t right. Everyone must work first to have success in life.

I agree with the Quote that "The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." because you need to work hard before succeeding. The reason why I say that because Life isn't easy. No one will do your work with out paying, with paying means money with out money that means that you are not succeeding because you need to work hard, or at least have money. When you want to succeeded on something you are not good at at you will try your best to succeed on it and not give up like other people when they don,t want to work or try they want people to do it for free they will just give up and wait for other people to do it. I agree because I think that work will always come before success.You can't expect to get an "A" in your class if you don't study and do your homework.When you graduate from High School you don't go directly to a well paying job, you have to go to a University and work hard for that MA. I agree with the quote because in order to be successful you need to work. People can't just find success without working. The only place you will find success before work is in the dictionary, and that's because of its spelling. For example, students who quit school are not likely to be successful because they quit their only work, and that could have made them successful. People who quit halfway during something important can't reach success. Working means you have the possibility of being successful. I disagree because like even though people learn what words mean in a dictionary not everyone gets all their vocabulary from a dictionary. Like people also learn things from others around them that use those words. or like. its something that you just already know since you were small. pure intelligence :)
Because now kids just come out smart and like. i mean you do have to have a good education to get a good job but still.
most things are just stuff know already without even having to learn some things. and like you can still be successful without using big words you dont know because maybe someone else doesnt know them so like. if you were to use big words you would just be making them waste their time. because i know i always have to take my time and look up a word i dont know and yea. so like. why not just use normal words. but like yea like you have to know stuff to be succesful.

yeah, i do agree with that quote becuase if you dont work and try to earn your success, then success wont happen for you. success isnt just given to you or to anybody, no matter what. you have to earn everything that you get and everything that you want. if you dont work hard and try, then your idea of success wont be as good as the people who really try and earned their way to the top

I so totally agree with this quote. I mean work is what leads you up to success. Success doesn’t just fall from the sky you know. Work is important without it we would not have anything to do. Sure it can be boring at times but if you want to be successful you have to work for it. Success does not come automatically in life. It doesn’t just come to you, you have to go out and get it. You cannot achieve success without working for it. It takes hard work to achieve at anything you do. Nobody was born good at something everyone worked for it. I agree with this quote, because you will never be handed sucess in life at all, you will always have to work had at what you want in order it get it. And even if so you are handed sucess just because you might have certain connections that others aren't able to have you still will have to work at keeping that sucess. For example, it can be something as simple as you wanting to find that extra piece of change that you need to by yourself a candy bar, between the inside of your sofa, you can't just sit their and expect for it to just pop out at you. No. You have to move sofa cushions, pillows, or whatever else in order to find it. No matter what in order to have a great amount of sucess you have to put a great amount of effort and hard work into it. Nothing comes easy.
I do agree with this quote because the dictionary is the ONLY place where succes coems before work. There is no such thing as succeeding before you put your hard work into what you are tying to do.For example if you are going to do a report , you can't autmatically be successful with out working really hard.It is simply IMPOSSIBLE. I agree because you learn words from the dictonary that grows intosentences and paragraphs and to essays which helps you grow with your writeing and reading. I also dont agree because words and writhing are'nt the only thing that is important in order to succed.Theres othe basics that u need to know far as sience and math. I really agree with this quote. At first I disagreed, but I've changed my mind for the better. The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary, because if you at least look in a dictionary, that shows how much you want success, so therefore, that IS success. Everywhere else, you have to work to get success. You dont succeed by just TRYING to get a job. And once you get a job, its not succeeding by just TRYING to do your job. I stongly agree, you have to do work in order to sucessed. In life you have to do something before you can get anything. The same applies for sucess, sucess is not a handout, you do not sucessed just because, you have to work for it. Take grades as an example, people do not get an A + if they don't do any work. In reality you have to work, if you dont you won't go anywhere in life.

I think that the only place success comes from the dictionary is kind of true. You learn new stuff and learn new things in the dictionary . It helps you understand something when you dont no what it is. I think it comes from it a little but most of it comes from school and your education. When you need help on finding a word the dictionary is a good place too look for it. It helps you on alot of things. Like for example when you get homeoworks and you dont understand a word you could look for it .

What this quote is trying to say is that your education can be a large key for you to become successful. I agree with the quote because you first need to work hard to receive success. For example, if you want to be a doctor, you first need to go to medical school and then go through small medical jobs and continue studying. So you have to do all sorts of work to become a doctor, and once you are a doctor that is the success. Success doesn’t just come out of no where, you need to work hard for it. I do agree with this quote, because Vince Lombardi was a very successful man in this world, and if he lived based on these standards and you don't agree with this man, then you're crazy. Vince Lombardi won many American Football League games, and won 5 league championships in 9 seasons as a coach. I disagree with this quote because first of all i really don't get whta it is saying. But i think that it means to work hard before you do reach success. I totaly agree with this quote. One must work hard to achieve what they want in life. Without working hard first, we will never be able to find success in life. Opportunities come and go, but to succeed in life, one must take these oportunities into consideration. Success isn't going to come to you, you must wok for success until it is yours.

I agree because if you are going to say a speech or write a summary research you need to know how to say stuff and know what it means and you are going to read long wierd words that you will need to understand for your research summary.
I disagree because I hardly use the dictionary I half the time I am pretty succesful.
Well its true because its school what its talking about. People have to go to school so they can read write and spell so that you can learn your own name and be able to succeed in life. Some People work but they donT get payed enough to earn alot of money. When you go to school and you get goood grades you then can get accepted by many colleges in the united states that want to you to apply. By then you can be a doctor, a vet, an engineer and make alot of money, So The only place success comes before work really is in the dictionary.
I disagree why? I disagree because not everything is found in the dictionary. For some cases you got to do other stuff in school that the dicionary is not really useful for. I agree that the dictionary does help in some cases but not in all. The dictionary helps to find definitions and thats mainly whats its used for. A dictionary does help people in life for success but the rest is on your hands if you want to succeed in life your life you have to be accountable and be responsible for your own education and success.

I kinda agree with the quote because success does not just come like its gonna be right there. You have to work in order to succeed. You have to work really hard in life to be as successful as you want to be. You have to struggle to be successful because its hard to be successful. Also in the dictionary it comes before because its in alphabetical order. An example would be when like a project you can't just like write something and turn it in you have to check and see if its right to get a good grade. Also its like when you play soccer you can't just play you have to practice and then you'll be successful.
I disagree because the dictonary dosen't show or teach you nothing . It's only usefful for big vocabulary but you have to have some experinces before becoming succefull . I agree with this quote because you have to work for your success.Like for example if you don't know your addition but your trying to do multiplication in your math class your not gonna get to far and succeed because you don't even know the first step.You have to work your way up in something to succeed.You have to start on your little steps before you can jump to your big steps. For another example you cant just drop out of school not do any work and expect to succeed in anything for the rest of your life because you haven't learn all the things you were suppose to

I do agree because success doesn't just pop up out of the blue there are things you have to do in life first. People intend to take advantage of success because they think they have everything but they don't realize it until its gone and then they will have to learn to succeed on their own instead of waiting for privelages to be handed to them . Work and success go hand and hand. There's absolutely no LEGAL way to have success without sacrificing and working for it. Now-a-days, you can't get a well paying job without a college degree. You can't get a college degree without first graduating and getting a diploma from high school. And you cant get a high school diploma without getting a solid foundation from elementary school. With all of these years of education and hard work, your next and only option is success[if you have the right mind set for it]. In life nothing comes easy, you have to have determination and the drive to stay focused on your goal and strive to succeed.

Even actors have to work hard in order to become successful they have to rehearse their lines auditions for roles and that takes a lot of work even if they're talented.Musicans have to work hard in order to become successful they have to practice singing their songs or they have to write their own songs, others have to practice their vocals. nobody can be successful without hard work first unless you were born into a rich family and you end up becoming president of you family's

i truely agree with that qoute, becasue you can ask anyone you that is sucessful and they will tell you they got to were they are by hard work.For example if your playing a sport and when you practice you go half way thats how you will be in the game and playing half way in the game will make you loss, but if you work hard in the game you will dominate the other team and win. I agree the fact that success comes before work in the dictionary for many reason. The main reason I agree is because we all need to have an education before we are able to work. Most people think that it is easy to success with out an education but that is not what really goes on. People that want a minimum wage job are asked if they have a high diploma. If that person does not have a high school diploma they are for sure not getting hired. We all need to know math because almost all jobs require math. Those are a few reasons success comes before work in a dicionary

I dissagree with the quote, because in order for you to be succesfulyou have to work for it you don't become succesful just because you want to. You have to work for it. Like me right now I am working hard in school to be succesful im not already succesful. BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW MORE THAN WHATS IN THE DICTIONARY SO THATS WHERE MY DISAGREE COMES FROM. THE DICTIONARY IS TO EXTENTED YOUR VOCABULARY. SO YOU WOULD HAVE A BETTER VOCABULARY.
