If you only focus on one part of your life, you will probably succeed there, but in the other parts of your life, you will fail. When you focus on only one thing, everything else will start to reduce to nothing because you don't pay attention to it. It basically means that just because you focus on something ,it doesn't mean everything will go well. It's better to have several parts of your life acceptable, instead of one great part and the rest in ruins.
what its trying to say is that you should focus on everything not only one thing because if you only focus on one thing your only going to be good on that thing and the rest your not.

i think the qoute means that what you do will affect you in the future. i guess you have to take part in many things to succeed and not just take part in one thing b/c that might probably affect how you do in your future.

I agree with this. your future can only be tainted by focusing on one aspect because when you focus on one thing and that means that you are stuck on that one thing. that can hold you back from a good future and a bad one also. even though you wnat to avoid the bad it still is going to happen. Also say that something bad or not that great that you didnt want to happen you get cut down a little by it but you can not let that get you dwon or you cant let it keep you down.

Focusing on one aspect of your life and ignoring the other parts can lead to problems or failure in the parts of your life you are not paying attention to. Here's an example a hard working man is only foucsing on his carrer, trying to get a promotion but he is ignoring is family and is only thinking about his promotion. He may get the promotion but his family might resent him for only paying attention to his job.

I'm confused but i think this quote means that you shouldn't just focus on one part of your life because if you do, when you succeed in that one thing you focused on there will be nothin else to do because you have nothing else to turn to because you only focused on one part of your life. well this quoye is kind of confusing but what i think it means is that you have to believe in yourself so that when you become or acomplish what you want to be its going to be for a reason and you are not going to lok bac at your workand say there was no point to it. you have to believe in every little thing that yu do b/c if you dnt care about what you do it will turn out to be a total disaster and at the end it will not be very much B/c you didnt out sll your effort in it
EX.if you are getting ready for this big science project and if ebvery day that you work in it you dnt put any effort in it it wnt come up tp very much and you wnt win any place i the science fair but if you work on it every day and at the end you go to the science fair you know even if you dnt win anyting that that was your best and no one can take that away from you

I am trying to say that if, for example, you want to be a musician when you grow up you can't just focus on your music.
