I think this quote means that if you are a leader you need to inspire other and keep you're chin up when life and people around you put you down. People don't want a leader who will raise gas prices because they're upset that they had a fight with their spouse. People don't want a leader who's afraid because that makes the citizens afraid themselves. It's like a child hears a noise and expects mommy or daddy to be teir rock, but if mommy and daddy are afraid thn that child will be even more fearful then before. This says that noone wants to follow a discouraged leader , that quits leading b/c of a put-down. The leader just keeps continues to do what they do and care less about what other people think . That can really make things worse for your life because by following them you could end up worser than they are. It's always good to set things for yourself , most great leaders create things from scratch they dont need to follow in the footsteps of someone that has already made their example of a leader. I agree because this quote is saying that because who wants to follow a leader to back down and has no courage in their self. If someone critiize u and u give up that's not good because leaders dm't care what others think of them they just continue what their doing.U also dnt wont the ones who think negative all the time.The ones who are always postive no matter what people say to them.

i agree because no one would want to follow someone who is always giving up in their life. they would rather follow someone who is always doing good things in their life and is always working hard for their best.

i believe that this is true because great leaders do inspire othees which soon make them idols or people who other people look up to. A great leader always make somebody want to try harder to be better than that person they idolize. That is how a leader makes someone get stronger and better.

I BELIEVE THIS QUOTE BECAUSE EVERY LEADER HAS TO HAVE A PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING. IN THE PROCESS OF ACCOMPLISHING SOMETHING THERE ARE USUALLY SOME KIND OF STRUGGLE THAT COMES WITH IT AND THE LEADER IS THERE TO INSPIRE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO STEADFAST.
