i think that about 2 weeks ago in algebra class in our groups we had to work out a problem but individually then we had to go in our groups to come up with one answer i had a different answer from my group and they werent listening to me on why i had the right answer they still didnt listen so they gave their answer and they got it wrong it turned out to be that my answer was right

My bestfriend and I was having a argument about basketball she was saying that i was the best female basketball player at my middle school but i really was but i didnt want to say i was true because she is good but she would put her self down and say she wasnt good but she was when we would play at lunch she wouldnt try hard so i would tell her that she is good and she is better the some people and all she need to do is practice more but now i still talk to her and i gave her enough confidence now she plays on the basketball team at her high school.
I wanted to get a new system and my dad said no. So I constanly asked him and did all my chores. My dad kept saying no and if I didn't stop asking him he would take away all my things. So I kept asking him about once a week. My dad realized that I was doing more than my share and decided to get me the system. In order to persuade someone or convince someone you have to stick to your idea and keep trying untill you convince the person that you have the right idea.

I remember when I convinced when I convinced my mom to buy me another skateboard when it had snapped and I did not have any money to buy my own. At first she said no, then I was able to convice her that skateboard was the only thing keeping me out of trouble, like from bad people and bad influences. I explained to her had skateboarding also had my mind set for something and there was always something to work on. She thought about it, and then she gave me the money and I bought myself another skateboard. Unfortunately, it snapped a couple weeks later. But, the good thing was that I had money from going to work with my dad. So , I bought myself another board.

okay a situation in which i used THE ART OF CONVINCING was when i CONVINCED A PERSON that they heard something that i said which was a complete lie. i argued and argued becasue why would i let aa lie beat the truth.I was persuading THAT PERSON but i guess the lie was way bigger than what i had to say. I finally conviced them that what i was saying was the truth but it was not the same we wouldnt talk that much and we were so close.But i won the fact that i got through and made them believe...things then again happen and i jut didnt feel like arguing about what was goingon becasue i know this time i wouldnt go through and now i live a better life wiht my conscience clear that i didnt do anything...

I convinced my bestie Nik to help me pass out flyers about animals fur coats being make into coats and boots. So then Nik was all like, dude... why are you doing this? I told him that it was pathetic that people would skin animals winter coats for their needs. It makes me sick how people would actually buy things made out of animals! Something that I was against was girls shaking their butts in music videos that those rappers be haven. There's a show on BET called Hip hop vs. America and they talk about how men shouldn't degrade women esp. when they're in those music videos and I totally agree. Because I'm a young woman and I know how some guys are I feel sorry for women that do that to themselves and some men just accept it and let them because they know they gettin paid. But there are others ways to get paid, even though people say sex sells I just don't care for it. I would hate to see my best friend or even someone I don't know getting money by pleasing guys in a nasty way. To sum this all up, I am just against the girls with the money-makin thing in videos. Im not sayin it's bad to be in a video but as long as you not showin your private and goodies and shakin them I'm good.
There was this one time that I had to pursuade myself. I had to convince myself that the friends that I once had were not my real friends. That they would hurt me again if I gave them another chance and gave them the same trust that I had given them before again. I thought about all the things that they had done. All the lies that they have told me. All the trust that I had given them and they just took advantage of it. Well first when the XBOX 360 came out i thought it was going to be wack that the playstation three was going to be WAY BETTER... But den i played it it was awesome but the thing was i thought playstation was going to be better because it hasnt came out yet. So especially because XBOX 360 was messing up about that time. Then my friend was like your crazy i have the PLAYSTATION 3 and its not so good i played that system IT was WACKKK!!!!! Well one day I was helping my naighbor doing his project. I told him how to do it because I read the instructions, but he was telling me thats not how you do it. We did it his way but in two days when he had to present his project the teacher told him he did it wrong. When he got home he told me I was right I told him you should of listen to me because I read the instructions and you didn't.I was telling him the right way so now he listens more to me.

well when i used to work in teen jobs i used to sell newspaper. i had to pursuade people to get/tryout the newspaper i would say something like com on sir you would be helping me go to college

Well once in elementary school one of my friends didnt finish there homeowrk and he decided to copy someone elses but thats sort of cheating so i told him not to so he didnt believe me because he said he wouldnt get caught and when he was copying the homeowrk so i told him to put it away and well he dint get caught but he trusted me eversince and he know knows whats right!

When I graduated from my old school on the day of my graduation my dad asked me what I wanted for a graduation present and, I told him that the only thing I wanted was a mini bike. -Well i got AVID class so do this all most every day. There was a time when the class had a agruement that if you have a kid and if he watched unresticted t.v. he/she will become the dumdest kid in their class and be pick on. BUT IN THE END WE LEARNED A LOT OF NEW THINGS THAT WE DIDN'T KNOW SO SHE THANKED ME. =]
I was persuaded to do bad stuff before. and well me as a teenager did it. somethings i realize to not be doing anymore. other things i still do them in my own personal choices although sometimes i know i shouldn't. but is part of life you gotta learn from your mistake and teenagers do this everytime because they go we the group thinking is cool.

One time i persuaded my mom to but me two new outfits and some shoes. i got her to do it because I said I got good grades on my report card and I deserved a prize for my hard accomplishments. Once I told my friend to stop cutting himself because i told him that it was not worth it. I remember when I convinced my mom to buy me another PSP when it had broke and I did not have any money to buy my own. At first she said no, then I was able to convice her that PSP was the only thing keeping me out of trouble, like from bad people and bad influences. I explained to her had PSP also had my mind set for something and there was always something to work on. She thought about it, and then she gave me the money and I bought myself another PSP. one time, me and my cousins were going to watch a movie at del amo mall. we were arguing about what movie to watch. my cousin wanted to watch the game plan and i wanted to watch resident evil. we were arguing on what to watch because we were talking about that the movie game plan sucks and it would have been betterto watch resident evil. me and her were going on about this for like 15 minutes. then we finally watched game plan. in the end game plan was a good movie and i was wrong that it sucked.

There was this one time when my mom had told us that she was going to let us go to any theme park as long as we take my little cousin. They all wanted to go to Knotts because my cousin was little and blah blah blah, but I didnt want to go there. (been there to may times) I wanted to go to Six Flags. So First I had to persua my little cousin into going and it wasn't that hard because she loves tweety and I promised her that I was going to get her to take a picture with him. Now to persua my sisters was the hard part. They were telling me that I was being selfish becasue she wasn't going to be able 2 get on the rides. At the the end we ended up going to 6-flag(what baby wants baby gets!LOL)and my cuzin was gettin on the rides with us. She almost cried on Goliath but I told her if she did i wasn't going 2 take her 2 see tweety and she didnt cry! That's Hawt!
There was a time when I had to convince my parents to let me go to San Diego to be with y cousins for a whole month. I told them that we were just going to be in there house the whole time, but me and my cousins were going to a lot of places. So, they were finnaly convinced and they let me go. So me and my cousins went a lot of places I have never been to. So, Persuacion comes helps you in life.
One tim where I was able to convince someone to agree with my situation was when i was able to convince the girls at sundays game to believe to not let their attitudes get to them. Because we were goin to play against one team that we always end up fighting with them, and twice we actually enedud up "fightin" during the game. And because of that some of our players got suspended, but their whole team got suspended for 3 weeks because they were the ones that started it. And so on sunday my coach told me to try to talk to them and convince them that if we do this again that we were goin to get put on proobaton, but not likely, and if not we were going to get expelled along with the other team. So we played the game just keepin our mouths shut, and ended up winning 6-0. And it was funny because they kept on talking their smack, but they were the ones loosing as well, so i just looked at them whenever they told me something and just laugh.

a time when i had to convince someone was when i was in the mall and my friends and me had to decide on what to do that day. We all had different ideas from going to the movies to going to eat somewhere and i tried to persuade them to do what i wanted but at the end i coudnt and we went to my friends house. Im not that good at persuading people so i dont bother to do it.

Well, theres been alot of times. One situation I convinced someone to go to my side of a problem or need is everyday woth my mom. I persuade her to let me go outside like a real kid because she babies me to much. I persuade her to let me out on the streets at night without her worrying so much. I persuade her everyday to let me be a real teen on the streets after school and go to parties. She thinks that I'm not ready for the "outside world" and that I might get hurt if she does let me go. I persuade that I will be alright out there alone or even with my friends because I can handle myself. Each and every day i have to prove myself to everyone especially my mom because she doesn't trust me enough. Everyday is a task for me because I always have to prove myself and I believe I can do it all day every day. Everyday is a day of persuasion like football too because I have to do my hardest to get some playing time. I have to show them what I'm capable of and what I can do. Baseball too, because I have to show pride, great effort and ability. I have to show what I can do on the field and learn from my mistakes. To me, persuading someone is an everyday task.
THE ONE TIME I PERSUADE SOMEBODY WAS NOT THAT LONG AGO . I HAD TO MAKE MY ARGUMENT SO THAT MY MOM FELT SORRY FOR ME . I EVEN SAID IT MIGHT RAIN . EVEN THOUGH I SAID PLEASE ALOT I DON'T THINK THAT'S WHY SHE GAVE ME A RIDE.
Ihave this situation with my friend to not be negative because its notwhat was the best thing that she would but she didnt want to hear me, she had this thing that all the people have to do what she said and thats not the point. sometimes its good to give asugestion. like sometimes i told my dad to buy me somethings that i need and i say him why and he sometimes says no i told him that i got good grades why i can have the things that i need at end of the day he says yes there is when he realize that i'm right.
theres was one time when my friend had to make a decision that was gonna change alot about her. her mom wanted her to start actin a certain way and she juss wanted to her self. her told her that if she didnt change then she was gonna have to live somewhere else. so she came to me crying and i persuaded her to be her self but to change her ways a little, because she wasnt doin right. so she made the decision to change a little but not her personality. and her mom was happy so she didnt have to live anywhere else.

TELL ME WAS IT WORTH IT NOW THAT ITS SAID AND DONE OR DID U FIND WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR, TELL ME WAS IT WORTH IT BOY THATS ALL I WANT IS JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH AND NOTHING MORE, DONT BE CONFUSED AND THINK THAT I WANT TO BE BACK IN YOUR ARMS KUZZZ I CLOSED THAT DOOR TELL ME WAS IT WORTH IT FOR YOU TO MAKE THAT CHANGE AND POLAY THAT GAME WITH ME. I GAVE ALL I COULD GIVE YOU CHANGED IT ALL UP FOR YOU BUT YOU DIDNT SACRIFICE FOR ME, SO IS IT FOR THE MOMENT ARE YOU REALLY ON IT..EITHER WAY YOU AINT THINKKIN BOUT ME... I remeber i convinced my dad to change me from st.johns to la tijera. Because i didnt fit in and i promised i wouldnt keep gettin in trouble but i broke the promise. I also convined my parents to let me out ever day so i can get street smart.
so like yea, i told my dad that to my homework now in high school, its gonna require more than just a paper and a pencil, it needs a copmputer, so i told my dad if i can get a computer, and he said no, so what i did is told him that it will help me with my essays and all this other stuff, projects,so then he was like ok, but you have to get good grade and i was like ok, i will, that is my story.
