Yes, I think that society has become so dependent on computers because they depend on the computers to solve everything for them, also they depend on the computers to give them answers to every little thing even if it's homework, house work, school work, and even if you have a job. Yes I do think that society is now dependent on computers because most of the things we do are done in a computer. We get most of our music from computers by downloading programs. Jobs require computers to store information or to attend the customers like groceries or fast food places. People communicate with other people mainly with a PC/Laptop. Students use the internet to get information on homework assignments or projects and also to print things out or type up and essay. You can apply for colleges or jobs through the internet instead of having to go to that place personally when they are open. Computers make the life of someone a lot easier from the examples that I just included in my opinion. They also help you be organized a lot faster because there are things called files where you can insert any information you want and you can also name that file so it can be easier for you to find what you are looking for. The programs that you can put into a computer are mainly the things you need in an everyday life. A computer will give you the answers that you ask.

I say this becacause for example say some ones having a wedding, and there cell or house phone isnt working and they send pout an invitation over the computer they are depending on it to get it to that person. or thats 1 person that they would just have to scratch off the list. Sadly, we have to do those on our own. BUt computers have helped us in many ways though when we cant do much. We can pay our bills, buy products, and keep in touch with friends from around the world.
I do believe that society has become dependent on computers. We use computers to do almost everything. Jobs these days require you to know about computers. They prefer people who know a lot about computers than someone who knows a little. Our generation has become so lazy that they shop, do groceries, order pizza, and a lot of other things just because it is easier to do on a computer than to do it themselves. The way people use to research was go to the library, read a bunch of books on that subject, or encyclopedias. These days you can find encyclopedias online and google anything. You can now get on a computer talk to guys and get hooked up with them on a computer. What's up with that?!? Now, imagine how our lives would be for a week if something goes wrong with LA's power system and nobody's computer works. So many people would believe living like this is hell or maybe even impossible to live because as I said before, we are the lazy generation.

Yes i think that society has become dependent on computer technology because everything is powered or is ran by computers. Every depends on computers to do their job now. Store clerks ... cashiers are always using the computer to do price check or ring up peoples items. Yes its much esier but sooner or later people are going to get overwhelmed by technology and and loose control of it. Like now people can actually use robots to do stuff for other people. Us students also use the computer to type a report instead of doing it the old fashioned way and writing it by hand. We also use the computer to look up words and information on google or ask.com and many more places instead of looking it up in an encyclopedia. Only cuz its eseiar sooner or later EVERYTHING in the world will be powered and controlled by a computer. People use computers for everything now a days yes it comes in handy but it also can become a danger to human society as we know it. Im not saying we shouldnt use computers for everything but we can backoff alittle and slow down the growing technology. So its fine to do stuff with the computer but not everything.

Computers are used in wars, launches, and many other important/dangerous events. If the main computer of the U.S. that controls everything we need or do, we would suffer very much. I think that our society has become dependent on computer technology. THe reason why is because almost everything that can be done, is done by using computer technology. That includes, whenever you want to go pay your phonebill at the store, for example. At most of them, if an asistant is too busy with other customers, you can just use this computerized machine on a side somewhere. This computer enables you to enter your phone number, area code, the rest of your information, and pay your bill. Either by punching in your credit card number or by entering money order or cash. And it saves you alot of time, I would say it would take you about less than five minutes. And another example would be at most of the jobs and household needs now. When you need to order certain things that you need for your house that would include some new paint for your room, a new vacuum, or some new sprays that clean certain things, everyone can order them online, instead of having to go store by store in order to get them. They can even be delivered to you. And the last example would be when certain people depend on computers to help them with their jobs. Even kids use the computers for ther schoolwork/homework. But still, people shouldn't become too dependent on computers, because you never know if your pc might get messed up.

Personally i do think our society has been taking over by technology. the reason i say this is because everything you see now has been either on the internet or being taken off the internet. so basically we just live in a technology based evirenent. technology grows on a day-2-day basis so theres no way we can stop it from happeneing. if you cant change it deal with it. and it s not like computers and high tech technology is a bad thing i mean . it just kinda seem like its starting to occupy every one into not doing things the old fashion way . and everything becomes more simple when its on the internet. for example we used to hate to go to the library to do research or check out a book. but we love when our parents say GET ON THE COMPUTER and do dat research. its seem like all fun and games. so 1nce again u ask does it seem like our society is getting taken over by the internet and advanced technolgy.....in a nut shell certianly.

I think not all of the people has become dependent on computers. But a large variety of the people in the society have become dependent to computers. Recent technology has spoiled many people. The reason that not all people are dependent computer technology because in other countries, people are to poor to afford expensive things like that. Alot of them have probably never seen a computer in there whole life. Well i think our sociiety has been dependent on computers... That is all we use now a days... Computer technology is running almost anything well actualy stuff that are new... Alot of peoples car have gps a computer technology system.... In a simples restuarant for example mcdonalds, the cashier orders your food by computer and the order goes in and the chef makes the food.... techonology is taking ova quikly to... RIght now were using a computer to do our journal dont you think in about ten year we wont use papers no more we will have our on computer... In about ten year someone will create a computer that is able to take everywere w/o no problem and we are going to use a computer as our notebooks and binders... Yea i think our society has been more focus on computers because computers today have to do with many things. You use a computer for learning...doing your homework. You can do alot of school activities in computer. Well if a computer doesn't have access to internet than the computer wouldn't be useful. in our society as you see computer access is everywhere. You see it in the market, at a library, and at shool, and many more other places. Yes I do think that society is now dependent on computers because most of the things we do are done in a computer. We get most of our music from computers by downloading programs. Jobs require computers to store information or to attend the customers like groceries or fast food places. People communicate with other people mainly with a PC/Laptop. Students use the internet to get information on homework assignments or projects and also to print things out or type up and essay. You can apply for colleges or jobs through the internet instead of having to go to that place personally when they are open. Computers make the life of someone a lot easier from the examples that I just included in my opinion. They also help you be organized a lot faster because there are things called files where you can insert any information you want and you can also name that file so it can be easier for you to find what you are looking for. The programs that you can put into a computer are mainly the things you need in an everyday life. A computer will give you the answers that you ask.

I think if we didnt have computers and you write a essay on paper you cant check for spell check because you might not know how to spell it to check your spelling but on the computers you can because it know everything like a human but more.You can save thing on the computer and if we didnt have computers you might not be a neat person and lose every thing that u need the most but a computer can save anything you need to save and thats why i think our society has became dependent computers.
Yes i think that societty has beome dependant on computers. I say this becacause for example say some ones having a wedding, and there cell or house phone isnt working and they send pout an invitation over the computer they are depending on it to get it to that person. or thats 1 person that they would just have to scratch off the list. Now imagine that they sent ALL of the invitations by computer..... and it didnt get to those people then they wouldnt have a wedding at all. Computers are apart of everyones daily life. When you have a paper due and you are out of state. You can e-mail the professor or instructor your work but you are depending on the computer to get it there. Before we even had the ability to do all of this if you were out of state and had something due you would of had to leave it with a freind and hand them turn it in or if you didnt have copies of the assignnment and it was with you then to bad for you.

In todays society we are very dependant on computer technology. computers are used in everyday life. as an example i would say that many larger businesses depend on an online program to keep check of the hours their employees work. you can even shop online for groceries now and have them delivered to your door! you can shop online too. you can order stuff from many far away places and have them shipped to your door in a few days. you can also IM with people instead of talking on the phone. so if you need to say something quick and fast IM is the way to go. Busy people depend on their computers to pay bills online. make orders and stuff like that..the world is so stuck on computers i think we need to back away a little bit and learn how to do stuff on our own because if we dont who knows what will happen to computers?

Yes, i think that society has become so dependent on computers because they depend on the computers to make life easyer.Also they depend on the computers to give information or answers to everything,such as homework,house work,and get information.Now in this people look back to the computers for answers,and plus they think that the computers have all the answers for any question that they dont know 2 the answer. Yes, I think our society HAS become dependent on computer tech for a couple of reasons. One reason is that in almost ever buissness, you're required to know how to type fast. Another is how computers are made today. First, we had the stay at home computer. Then, we had the laptops and notebooks. Now we have the online and text messaging phones that can fit in you're pocket. What is next, the internet in cars or even on the television. Our society has become dependent on computer technology because..let's see. Damn..I don't know what to put. It's kind of hard. It is dependent because everyone uses a computer for a different reason. Some use it for research. Students use it for Myspace or AOL Instant Messenger. Everyone has a complete reason on why a computer is dependent on them. Let's say you have an essay due tomorrow. You don't have time to write it down. What do you do? You type it in your computer and you have it done. People these days are lazy to write so some people type it using Microsoft Word to get it done.

Our generation has become so lazy that they shop, do groceries, order pizza, and a lot of other things just because it is easier to do on a computer than to do it themselves. The way people use to research was go to the library, read a bunch of books on that subject, or encyclopedias. These days you can find encyclopedias online and google anything. You can now get on a computer talk to guys and get hooked up with them on a computer. What's up with that?!? Now, imagine how our lives would be for a week if something goes wrong with LA's power system and nobody's computer works. So many people would believe living like this is hell or maybe even impossible to live because as I said before, we are the lazy generation.

Store clerks ... cashiers are always using the computer to do price check or ring up peoples items. Yes its much esier but sooner or later people are going to get overwhelmed by technology and and loose control of it. Like now people can actually use robots to do stuff for other people. Us students also use the computer to type a report instead of doing it the old fashioned way and writing it by hand. We also use the computer to look up words and information on google or ask.com and many more places instead of looking it up in an encyclopedia. Only cuz its eseiar sooner or later EVERYTHING in the world will be powered and controlled by a computer. People use computers for everything now a days yes it comes in handy but it also can become a danger to human society as we know it. Im not saying we shouldnt use computers for everything but we can backoff alittle and slow down the growing technology. So its fine to do stuff with the computer but not everything.

Our society HAS become dependent on computers because it has always been the future of technology. Our society uses computers for every little thing from food to business. Computers are used in wars, launches, and many other important/dangerous events. If the main computer of the U.S. that controls everything we need or do, we would suffer very much. We need computers to do our dirty work and even work we can do by ourselves. We use computers for everyday uses such as emails and homework. We do almost everything on computers and we depend on them to survive. Ever since the rise of technology, we have increased in our discoveries and computers help us to find things that maybe useful into finding our past. Many geographers use the m to take pictures of the earth and learn about any new landscape there. Astronauts use computers to start a launch and reach the outer atmosphere of space safely without blowing up into bits. We need computers to save lives and discover knew things around the world or even the universe. Police use computers to track people in their cars and they have evolved so much in the past 50 years. We depend on computers so much now that we adapted to it and if there ever were a day where all technology was dead we would never survive.... very long that is.
I think that our society has become dependent on computer technology. THe reason why is because almost everything that can be done, is done by using computer technology. That includes, whenever you want to go pay your phonebill at the store, for example. At most of them, if an asistant is too busy with other customers, you can just use this computerized machine on a side somewhere. This computer enables you to enter your phone number, area code, the rest of your information, and pay your bill. Either by punching in your credit card number or by entering money order or cash. And it saves you alot of time, I would say it would take you about less than five minutes. And another example would be at most of the jobs and household needs now. When you need to order certain things that you need for your house that would include some new paint for your room, a new vacuum, or some new sprays that clean certain things, everyone can order them online, instead of having to go store by store in order to get them. They can even be delivered to you. And the last example would be when certain people depend on computers to help them with their jobs. Even kids use the computers for ther schoolwork/homework. But still, people shouldn't become too dependent on computers, because you never know if your pc might get messed up.
