Well this was just yesterday and i was hanging out with the homies at the bridge and they were about to do something that was just innappropiate and we know that isnt what we should be doin', but anyways the boys in the group were trying to jump this bpoy for dissin' they hood and then thye was like when everybody come out the store for us girls to go in the store and start puuting things in our purses and pockets and all the girls was down to do except me and my other homegirl so... we was like we aint doin that because thats dumb so the rest of the girls did it and we just brought our ticket and went into the movies so and come to find out last night we heard they all got caught and now their name is in the system. This scenario relates to me because i chose not to do something that i was going to regret and i took the smart road!!!

A time when i ahd to pick from both was just a while back. I had to pick from living my life like whatever or actually taking responsibility for my actions.I had to decide to leave my house a mess or clean it. At first i was like whatever my mom cando it when she gets home from work,but then thought from work.Shes tierd and doesnt need to come to her house and have to clean she should come home and relax.SO then i started being responsible.I cleaned the house and imade her happy not just that i learned rsponsisblity.In this story of mine i icked the high road becasue i didn something good for someone else and for myself.

When I was in 8th grade I had a choice to go to WoodShop( an elective where you use mathematics to apply to normal cutting wood activities) or MESA( an elective that deals with mathematics, Engineering, and Science projects).
My parents let me choose wichever I wanted. I really wanted to go to both of them but I had to choose one. MESA helped me prepare for collge related activites; Woodshop helped me in learning how to cut wood using mathematics. I chose MESA because I thought it would help me prepare for difficult projects. This is related to the quote because each path led to somewhere different in life. If I were to choose Woodshop it would have taken me to a different path.
this is saying that there are two ways in yuor life. there is a hard and an esay way. most people take the easy way because they want to get everything over with fast.the hard way that challenges you wich not many people take help you build who your going to be in the future and it proves that you have what it takes to be someonne in life.so take the hard way because thats the raod that will make you successful in life. there are other paths in your life like if you do something wrong you could ether tell the truth or lie but if you lie your just going to keep on lieing over and over.

There was a time that I had a choice to either to let all the bad things that have happened to me and forgive the people who have hurt me or to stay mad and keep feeling bad for every little thing that has happened. I chose to let things go. Since I chose this I have not been feeling that bad like I used to, I have not had any anger against the other people, and my life has just been much easier. I dont have all this anger bottled up anymore. This scenario goes with the quote because I had a decision to do one or the other and the decision that I made has made a difference on the way that I feel.

one personal time i had to chose my own road is when i had to decide who was best for me to hang out wit. this at first was diffucult because i really culdnt see what was the big fuss about who i was hangin out with and what the issue was. ass time progessed the issue people were tawkin bout became noticeable and i had a desicion to make. so i took the high road and decided to hang out with people best suited n like and more likely to do sumthin in life rather than cause drama and waste there education o non sense and boys. so me steepong up and chosin to fall bacc from all the frakanacle bull....i chose the high road and the smart road.
Well, it was me and my good friends Lacrimosa and Nik. We decided to crash a partay and get all like whoaaaa. When we arrived, we seen like, everyone get drunk. Then, Lacrimosa ran off with this kid, and got drunk, While Nik was dancing with this dude, also getting drunk. So then I was like, "Should I party my butt off and get drunk also? Or should I just go home... and eat Hot Pockets and watch Lifetime."
So I ended up leaving Nik and Lacrimosa there. xD

A time where I had to choose between right and wrong and I actually took the high road was when people have asked me for my homework so they can copy but I didnt give it to them because I knew that it wasnt the right thing to do + they would have to have a good reason for me to let them see my homework anyways. This scenario relates to the quote because it's talking about how you choose right from wrong in which some people dont do.
I had to chose whether to help my dad at his work or go skate with with my friends. I really wanted to go skate but i did nt want to let my dad down on helping him on his extra work. So I thought about what should I choose and in the end I chose to go help my dad because it is not often that he needs me to go help him and so i went. I felt good about helping him knowig that i did something good and i also felt good because i got paid. xD

There was one time when I had to choose between two basketball teames my travling league and my highschool basketball teame. I wanted to choose my travling teame but my coach wanted me too play for my school basketball teame so it was a hard decision for me to make. My coach was tinking on my future what I could do with my life. but I wanted to stay with my friends and keep winning games but I finally decided to stay with the highschool basketball teame because I wanted to think of my future and see if I could go all the way to the NBA.
Well the one time in my life when I had to make a decision where i had to make a choice to do something right or wrong was when i had to to make a decision in weather or not i should tell my mom that I'am falling a class for not doing my work or homework.But at the end i did tell her and i got in trouble because i was going to fail that class. one day i had to choose to make the right decision or the wrong decision. my friends hads asked me to spray paint a wall. then i started to think about a time when my friend got in trouble for spray painting and he got in a 700 dollar ticket and 80 community service hours. So i chose not to because i didnt want to risk getting caught.
There was many times when i chose the hard way. I had soccer practice it was hell week. Hell week is a period of time that all you do is run in practice to get fit. My coach left to use to use the bathroom and we were cheating on our running. I chose not to cheat and run around the feild without cutting corners or stopping to rest. It really helped me because when you choose the easy way out you're not helping yourself out as much as you are when you choose the highway. You are just cheating yourself if you want to take the easy way out.

this was a time when i was in the 7th grade. my friend told me to take this fifty out off this girls pocket I told her no so she called me a b**** and told me that i was fake because i didnt do it. there has been many times when I had to choose between two very hard choices. during the summer when I would go hang out with my friends MY FRIENDS WEre going to jump a boy from 98 st. who croosed my friend out. I chose not to go when they told me they were going to jump him. I knew how it feels when you are by yourself and get jumped by a group of kids.I ghot called a punk and lots of other things for not going. I made the right choice because they got cauht and were arrested and I wasent. Now me and my causen david make fun of them for getting arrested.
I had a time where I had to make a decision.A while back when I was in middle school I was a dark path way. A couple of years ago, one day I was hanging out with my older cousins and their friends. We were at the mall and they were stealing stuff. They tried to get me to steal a phone case for them because I was the youngest and no would think I did it. I really didn't want to do it so I took one of my cousins to the side and told her how I felt. So I didn't steal anything and I just sat down on the bench. Then when we were going to the movies I told them that they were all stupid. I think stealing in bad, stupid, and even more stupid if you got the money to pay for it. In my life i went the wrong way by hanging out with the wrong friend's because we made a firework i used liter fluid and got some tennis balls so the tennis balls come in a can or something so i used the tube as a part of the firework so i put a hole in the tube and put 1 tennis ball in the tube so i put a tiny piece of string in the hole and i lit it up and it flew in the air and landed on someone garage roof so we left and hid far away the cops was surrounding t5he hole area and the firetrucks had to take out the fire on the roof and we never got caught. the quote means that there is 2 ways in getting where u want 2 get. there is a easy way and there is a hard way.although the easy way will get u there faster, the hard way will teach things that the fast way canot teach u.i once had a hard desicion to make in the past. this was about 2 weeks ago , this boy some how got a cigaarete and he asked me if i wanted 2 smoke with him. it was a hard desicion i had 2 make because if i said NO he would look at me as if i was a whimp 4 backing down.but if i deside 2 smoke with him i was going 2 get in alot of trouble and it can affect my health.i desided 2 not smoke and now i know who are the people i need to get away from.and i figured out who are the bad influence on me!!!!

I prefered to keep doing what im doing in school because that will help me in my future and if I did not do my work I would have more fun but that wouldn't help me nothing. Well it not like the quote it is the opposite I didnt take the good role.One day my cousin had stole something from the store and my auntie wanted to know where he got it from so he told me to tell my auntie that I gave it to him. So I did and the next day he went to target and stole something else and got caught.He was so stupid.so then I got in trouble because he told them I lied. my mom was like thats what you get for lying. One time I ditched school and went to my sisters friend house because i was tired. One of my friends from school had called my house and asked to talk to me. My mom had said I didnt make it home from school yet. My friend had said she didnt see me at school so my mom got mad. Even though I didnt get caught I learned my lesson to do right and not wrong.

One time at school, my friends wanted me to ditch class and go smoke with them but I said no because smoking can really affect you later on in life. And if they would've gotten caught smoking at school they would've gotten into some serious issues. Not only with their parents, but with the school too. one decision that i took was getting good grades and do good in school. i choosed the right path by doing those things. some of the people i hanged out with didn't do that good in school and ditched and just took the easy way out in everything. i took the high road because i knew that in the end i was going to be on top. it wasn't easy. i had to do all my homework and study i didn't get an f in any of my classes for the whole 8th grade but felt good about myself and knew i did the right thing.

I guess it was in 7th grade, i it was about to be 7 th period and i had p.e. and these's boys ask this girls getting out of the girls locker room and they said can you open the girls so we can see them, and they was still changing and they all scream then the two boys said oooohh s*** Ms. Hanes is coming so they ran until she came out and i didn't say anything because i thought they the two boys will beat the crap out of me, and i felt really bad.

I've had a couple of situations like that and they all had a positive lesson. The one i remember most is when a group of my homiez planned on going to the park since school let out early. I almost went but I thought about what my momma would of said about it so I didn't go. Later I found out that my homiez almost got jumped. I think that was the time when a friend of mine use to all ways have the answers to all the test on the school. One time when we have to do the most important test in the schoolshe was about to give me the answers but something happened to me that I said I dont want the answers and she was like why these is the most important test in owr lifes and I was like cause i know that I know all those staff that are on the test so i dont want to copy. so when the teacher give us the scores of the test she just get like 20% correct and I get 98.9%correct.so i identify with these quote cause of that.
Ok, well this has happened to me a couple of times. But one time that i really remember was in 8 grade. Some students that said were my friends were doing something not good. Well it was in six flags. They took something and they were doing it. They offered me some and i was going to take it. But then i thought about it and said no. I am not that dumb to just do something because everyone else is doing it. That was when i took the high road. Some of the people did the same things as me but then again others just followed the crowd. One of my friends was a follower. After she did it she felt really dumb. The next day she told me that she felt like an idiot because she had done it. She also told me to try and help her because she often did that,just follow the crowd. At first i was the one that felt like the lozer but after i knew that i had done the right decision. So now that i look back i am very proud of myself because i know mthat i took the high road and made the right decision.

If by high road you mean the right way then there was this time when I took the high road I was sitting in class Ther was this person trying to talk to me. But I dont want to talk Because I was taking at. They kept on calling me and they said if they could borrow a pencil. I just handed the person the paper back and he got the chance to finish his test. I did the wright thing and let them borrow a pencil. The other example is one day I was Standing In the halway someone pushed the elevetor button. The door open and someone with the most power they had pushed me into the elevator. That person never apoligized I felt very hurt.; This other example of me is a boy told me you have index cards. I said yes he said let me borrow ten. I said sure. I've been in a situation like this once. I remember in 8th grade my friends just decided to pick a fight with the posers at our school. I felt bad for the posers because they were... well... pitiful. So I didn't get invlolved. The posers didn't fight back though. But I made the right choice and it made a difference because if they had done something back I would've gotten in trouble for fighting.

Ive done alot of good decison and alot of bad decision. One time i did a bad decision was when i was in a classroom were the teacher really had no control of the class. Everybody was telling me to turn of the lights becuase ive always done that. but this time was very different He had covvered the lights and said whoever turns them off willl go to da office and blablabla.So im like man i bet you guys that i can turn them off without getting caught so i went for it. Unfortunatly i did get caught and ye got in some trouble. they kalled my parents and yea had to be in da office all day.:(....But i learn that pleasing otheres doesnt mean you pleasing yourself. when i was about nine or ten years old, i hung out with some people i thought were my friends. one day, they wanted to play a prank on one of the teachers cause they failed her class. and the prank was not like those little pranks like a spideron the desk or a spoiled apple. They were going to trash and beat up her car. i personally did not like the idea because not only was it wrong and so not worth it, but because the teacher was really cool with me and im passing her class with an A. so when it became the time they were about to do the prank, i backed down. at first they were tring to scare me saying they were going to beat me up and stuff if i did not go with it, but that did not scare me at all because i knew they were a bunch of bluffs. so at the end, they got caught by the teacher and the principle and got in SERIOUS trouble. and i never talked to them again. well I think everyday ALL of us, at the same time chose a right path just by coming to school. When you wake up in the morning your brain automatically tells you that you need to go to school, so you decide wether you want to take the day off and make it up tomorrow or do you want to go, do your work, and turn in your homework THAT day, so you have 2 paths every day(except weekends)to decide which one to take,and that relates to the quote because you can choose to come to school or you can choose not to espeicially seniors, it's not even like there mom or dad wakes them up every morning and says "hey wake up and get dressed,your late for school", they have to make that decision for themselves and if you don't do what you have to do in high school, and you can't take that sacrifice of staying up late and partying all night then you really don't want to go to college because this is just the first step.
OK, since i can't really think of a situation, i'll start off by explaining what i think it means. It means that sometimes, jusr because everyone else is doing something, it may not be the best choice, what you decide to do in the end might be best.
Ok, there was this one time when we were at the park, and everyone got wet, so some of my friends started taking their clothes off, then some guys were staring at us (i didnt take anything off), then theses other came and stlole thier clothes and had them running around on towels for like half an hour.

There's been many times when I have been stuck between two decisions and I didnt know which was right, or I did but I took the wrong one knowing that it was bad. But in this case a time when I have taken the high road was when I know I had a test that was worth about 30% of my grade and I didnt want to study because alot was going on throughout the day. I remember I had alot of homework and I needed to study. Turned out that I studied for a while and got a good grade while others didnt and failed it. I was proud of myself and I felt good for not slacking off b/c I know I would have felt guilty and lame for not trying my hardest.

In 8th grade, I got suspended for chweing gum..lame reason by the way. I was failing half of my classes and I didn't know what to do. I wanted to give up, but the principal told me to make a choice. A time i had to choose either the good road or the bad road, was when i went to my homegurls 15. Everyone was there having fun and enjoying themselves greatly. But then everyone started drinking. All the homies (which were mainly the guys) were down for some coronas and margaritas, me n the homegurls were just down for some margaritas. And so the guys started ridiculing us because they said we weren't down. And so i got mad and told them, they shouldnt be talkin since most of them were goin to get rides home from us. And so they stopped, but when the guys got home it was a whole different story. Their parents heard from other parents that were at the party that their children were drinkin "heavily", and so they got grounded, but not for long. But it was still funny because i know for a fact that some of them got whooped. It relates to the quote because i decided not to take the "dumb" road, but to take the "smart", which gave me the benefit of the doubt by giving the opportunity to go to other parties since my parents saw i am more responsible.

I was in the store and I had to choose between a Playstation 2 or an Xbox. At the time the Xbox and the Play station were in competition, i though that if I got an Xbox that people would say ' oh taht system is weak ,why didnt you get a playstation.
a better example is when i was in 6th grade one of my cousins(who is know in jail) came up to me and asked me to go to the store with him he said he would give me 10 dollars to get whatever I wanted if I stole something for him(THATS A GOOD DEAL)I refused.

A time where i had to pick from either bad or good was when i had to choose between not helping my mom with housework or either goin outside and hangin out wiht my friends and of course i would have chosen my friends but then i thought about my mom doing all the work and her always helping me when i need help and then i thought about how friends dont always help you when you need help. So i thought about it and chose to help my mom because she always helps me so i need to be their for her when she needs help.

When I was seven, there was a time when my mom was talking on the phone and I was eating. My mom was just knocked out concious I was scared because I didn't know what happened. I didnn't know if I should of called the ambulance or I should wait until she woke up. There was nobody else in the house. So I figured that I should call the ambulance because I couldn't do anything about it. When the ambulance came my mom had bearly woken up, then my dad and my brother came at the same with the ambulance, they thought it was a good descicion that I made.
Well it was maybe when i was in la tijera when my friends chose to go in a class room and take the all the detentions they were all down except me and my friend. So they went in the class room they were opening the door when this teacher opened the door from the other class and caught all of them. So they all got detention for the whole week exept me and my friend for taking the write path. Good thing we werent down to do that. they werent able to go notts berry farm.

when my friends decided 2 go 2 aparty and i said i was going 2 stay home and my homework because school is more important than going 2 a party.i had 2 make a decision either go 2 the party and say at home so i made a wise decision and stay at home because i know it wouldve have been more partys that year.and the meanwhile i new there was a time in life where i had 2 make decision which was more important 2 take care of.
There have been many times where I have diverged the low road is when I don't pick fights with people who joke about me. When I was younger I would get heated and disasterous things would happen. I had a low self-esteem and kept every little thing that happened in school inside. Those days I would throw school balls over roofs so they couldn't play with them anymore. Other times I would just scream and think about hurting them but I knew it was never worth it. Now a days, I can always keep calm even if people make fun of me because i know they are ignorant and I know that most of them are not even able to understand me. That's what I think most of the time and now, some people who used to make fun of me are my friends because they understand who I am and what I'm capable of. This is a choice of the high road because I never got suspended because I didn't fight and if i did it would have lowered my teachers expectations of me. there were nmany times when i had made lots of wrong mistakes instead of right ones. i had made so many wrong mistakes that sometimes i wish i can go back and change them. like for when i would disobey my parents and not do what they told me to do. instead i would just do what i want to do and not listen to them. then when i dont listen to them, something always turns out wrong. i would sometimes go out and stay all night and not come home and not tell my parents where i am or when im coming home. then when i would get home, i would always get into an arguement with my parents and start yelling at them. this would always happen when i just do whatever i do when i dont listen to them. and when i cant do something, i would think that its my fault because i wouldnt listen to them when they told me not to do what ive been doing, which is not coming home and staying out all night. that can be an example of me taking the wrong direction instead of the right one because, if i dont listen to them, then i wont be able to do as much because they would make me stay home for not calling them, which i rarely do. but then i still dont listen to them and i still go out and disobey what they tell me to do. but if i would listen to them, they would let me do what i want if i let them know that im okay. so that would be my example of taking the wrong direction instead of the right one.

There was a time in my life were I had to make a really hard decision that could have had me ended up in a place I wouldn't want to be. I was stuck between backing my family up and the thought of being caught and spending some time in juvy. My cousin had gotten jumped by some kids like 2 blocks from their house and it was all because her friend had beef with them. I was so pissed because I felt that that was one of the most stupid reasons to jump and jack somebody. I knew where they all lived, and my cousin and I were going to go break into their house and beat them up while they were half asleep and f. up there place. Anger can get you thinking dumb and I wasntthinking. The guote is saing that there are two ways in life the right way or the wrong way.Well I think I would choose the right way because its going to be a good way and if I chosed the wrong way it going to be a bad way in life and its not going to help me anything. Its just gonna make me a bad person. Well i dont think I had a time I had to choose the right or wrong well at least I dont remember but if I did I would choose the right way instead of the bad way.
