I think this quote means that Focusing on making a buck is you may think of yourself as a King or something and it will leave you with nothing yet. You may have high ambitions but they may go down to low ambitions. I think this is a great quote by Barack Obama.
I think this quote means that if you focus on making a buck you may think your self as a ruler or a king, you might have high ambitions but sometimes it may go down to low ambitions.
When all you do is focus on gaining money, without noticing it you can lose family, friends and the real person in you. Like when it is said that money isnt happiness, and it isnt everything in life. I agree with this quote, because a person can work hard to get money but so they could either sustain their family or themselves, but when you see money coming to you easily, then thats when it comes to be an ambition in where you dont care about anything but getting money.
