What do you think were some of the causes of the student's outrage that resulted in tragedy at Virginia Tech university? What are some things that we can do to assure that this type of thing doesn't occur at our school, community, home?

I THINK THAT THIS STUDENT HAD ISSUES HE WAS NEVER ABLE TO RESOLVE. HE HAD PHYCOLOGICAL PROBLEMS...WE NEED TO KNOW WHO IS IN OUR COMMUNITY..B/C THAT IS SOME SCARY STUFF...
i think that it was mostly because he was a loner and didnt bother to make friends or go to counseling. also he could've had a bad past or was messed up. so this wouldn't happen at our school if someone seems like a loner different people could hang out with that person or whatever.
I THINK THAT HIS OUTRAGE WAS CAUSE BY OTHER PEOPLES RAICISM AGAINST ASIANS AND PEOPLE NOT BEING FRIENS WIT EACHOTHER. ITS IMPORTANT FOR US IN THIS SCHOOL TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACHOTHE AND BE FRIENDS. BECAUSE PEOPLE THAT FEEL LEFT OUT WIOLL SOON GET MAD AND SOME KIND OF THING TO GET ATTENTION.
i feel bad of what happened to the people in virginia tech university because now they feel traumatized on what happened and feel unsafe.
In my opinion what caused the tragety in Virginia Tech University is that the guy who shot the students went crazy..because you'd have to be extreamly mad or just plainly crzy to kill 32 students who he probably dont even know, and has no reason to do it. Something that we could do to prevent this is to have more security in school. Prepare and train police and swat for a situation like this. But sometimes you cant control what happens so you might not be able to avoid something like this at home or in the community.
I think that maybe he was annoyed by some of the students there. And i also saw on the news that it took 2 hours for the police to get there. One thing that couldve not let this happen was if the police got there sooner. If he killed the first person, the other people shouldve left the building, and if for some reason they couldnt, then i dont know. Because i dont really know a lot on this story.

I think that he was crazy and was probably using drugs or he was depressed. Or he got strees out by school or his personal life. I don't what we can do in our community but we need to be more safe.
I think that the students outrage was caused by a couple of things. First of all, I think that he was lonely and had no friends. In the news it also said that he had stalked some girls so probably he wasnt very popular in that women department. It could also have been that he was just crazy and there was something wrong inside his head. SOme things that he could do to prevent this happens again is to have better security systems and to learn from past mistakes.
He was most likely troubled, teased and mistreated all the time. and maybe he had some relationship problems, couldnt get a girl freiend, and too much school work. to make sure this dosen't occur to our school we should tone down the teasing a lot and be open
I think the outrage at Virginia Tech University was maybe he was angry and wanted revenge on those students, teachers, and staff.

To make sure it doesn't occur at school is to keep an eye on everyone and make sure they stay close by. our community by proctect eveyone and don't let anyone go alone. at home don't make anyone angry.

Whell the Asian guy Cho Seng-hui had broke up with his girlfriend and shot her. After he supposely shot the guy the girl was supposely going out with. Then he killed 33 students and then himself. He probally had a deranged childhood or a bad life and took it out on him classmates when he had the courage ao was nad enough. For one thing he is crazy . We will now have to probally have to check colleges for weapons and make people ore save in there inviorment to learn. We can also make sure that nothing like this happen again and if it does for the police to react faster.

there is always one person that gets made fun of and usually doent show it. thats probly how this guy must have felt. he was probly one of those ppl. he was probly fed up with all the jokes and things so he lost his mind. he wanted the ppl who were happy to feel the same way he felt.....then he took his own life because he was very unhappy and usually when some one gets made fun of and gets ridiculed they usually feel lik they have nothing and no one and nothin to live for becaus he felt everything the ppl would say was true....so he nothing to live for..
i think that he didn't believe in himself so he took his problems out on people who are making a brighter future for themselves...we should all treat eachother equal instead of just dissin other people that we don't talk to because sometimes quiet ones get very VIOLENT...but we shouldn't treat anyone foul because we wouldn't like to get treated like that either...DO ON TO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO ON TO YOU!!
i believe that some of the outrages that resulted in a tragedy in virginia tech university were most likely he was isolated and didn't have any friends, cho seng-hui was a quiet guy that always had rage and hate inside of him abd maybe the student's teases caused him to execute all those people 1 by 1. he killed the first 2 students with an automatic rifle, then 2 hours later he lined up 30 people and killed them one by one with a handgun, maybe a 9 millimeter magnum handgun.
some of the things we can do in this school is not instigate people to get angry and to to settle things out without any conflict, because most school shootings happen because of conflicts that were never resolved and formed into grudges. after bottling it in for a while, he probably just couldnt take it anymore and went crazy. in a way, it's actually the students and the police's fault.
its the police's fault because they didnt do anything when the first 2 people died and 2 hours later the school sent an emergency message saying that there is a gunman on the campus and that to not open the doors, but since the message was so late, the gunman had enough time to go to other classes and started rounding up students to execute.

Well, I think that the student's outrage was kind of unreasonable and sad, it is kind of sad when you see 32 people died by a psyco and killing himself, he probably didn't have any friends or he could go get help to solve his problems in his life that was in his past that he messed up, so this could maybe happen at aour school or at any school.
I think that the causes of this tragedy had nothin to do with the teens in college I heard that the guy did it because his girlfriend broke up with him. I think the schools should have metal detectors and those things they have in the airport where you put your stuff in the mmachine and they could look at your stuff.
Some people are just crazy and suffer from metal illness. Maybe he has a metal illness or maybe his mad at life because people treat him bad but thats not always the case, rememeber Columbine they didnt it for like almost no motive they werent outcast or nothing. Pretty much now he is the guy with the more kills at a school, I dont know if this will encourage lunatics to try and beat his record. I dont know things like these are confusing we might never know why he did it unless he kept like a journal. And dont blame these on video games like that one idiot Thompson Jackson or whatever his name is that is going around saying GTA was the reason the guy killed. All we can do to prevent something like this is too have better secuirty because they police are idiots they should have locked down the school when the first two murders occured.

i think this was crazy and he had problems and was very deperessed abd probably needed to take some sort iof medicine to make him right in the head. people knew he had problems and they didnt even try to help him with medication or with psychology. even teachers thought he was a wierd guy taking picctures of students during class and all they did was kick him out of the class instead up taking him to a councler. wat we can do to prevent this from happiong in our school is if theres a kid that has problems and looks deoressed or acting funny we should help them not just try to avoid it.
i think it was that he felt left out and stuff and i think he head some serious problems in his life and thought his whole life was going to be the same and was depressed.And because his girlfriend just happened to break up with him so he probably felt like nobody wanted him,his parents might've died or left him earlier on and tried to get a girlfriend and now she left him so he feels loneley.To prevent this from happening i think we just have to make everybody feel like theyre safe here and make them feel welcome.Because we're such a small school everybody knows everybody and no body is left out.by.And if we have a new student we always end up getting along with them.Yeah thats what ithink.
I think That some of the causes were stress because stress can make you do many crazy things, probably family issues and other personal problems. For our school we should not make as much stress on the students, but the students must also not cause stress onto themselves. For our community we should make some fun programs to relieve the stress and make some fun to show them that we shouldn't stress over anything. For our homes, well, that's up to the family, they could talk it out and stuff and find a great solution. If that doesn't work, unwind on somebody you trust and tell them about it. you'll fell much better then get over it.

I think he might have had bad realtionships with his family, like maybe he got raped or something. Many reporters said he was a lonely boy too. Some ways we can avoid this in our school is if we communicate with eachother. Some people can just get counseling.

i guess he never was happy, had abusive or no parents, never had a girl, was scared he wouldn't graduate, etc. to make sure this doesn't happen we can make sure everyone is happy and check thier parents and make sure students can all graduate
maybe the person that caused all this was a probably a guy who has been thorugh a lot and was bullied around and pobably didnt have any friends. at school we can stop being racist and stop having all of these cliks. another thing wee can do is just stop making fun of people because it might hurt their feelings.
I think some of the causes of the Virginia Tech's student outrage were people beind mean to him,people being rude to him, or people ignoring him. The things we could do to make sure this type of violence doesn't occur here are try not to ignore one another. If you see somebody alone looking like they need a friend you should go over there and try to be their friend,if you see people being rude to another person you should try to tell that person that they don't know what that person id going through at home...so they should be a little more understanding, and I think we should stop ignoring others because you never know what they're capable of doing. (ex.shooting @ school)

I think that we can be sure that that type of thing doesn't happen here by helping out people who have problems and letting them know that there are people there that can help them out. And that they are not alone, other people might have the same problem and people who turned out ok. Or if they are just doing that for no reason they should tell them that if they do that it wont get them no where and they would just get in deep trouble. Also they should make sure that everyone knows they shouldn't bring weapons to school or even harm anyone.
i think that kind of behavoir is caused by mentall issues. I am hoping if any thing like that happens around here im not near by.lets just hope that d0nt happen but to kinda avoid problems like that you have to be considerate about what you say and do to other people.

I think that some of the reasons for his outrage were he was made fun of. He was also living in poverty in South Korea. He was also ignored by his classmates. People also were afraid of him because he was very quiet. He was perhaps maybe ambitious and many saw him different and saw him as a bad person. I think that some things that we can do to prevent this type of situation at home, school, community etc is that if we notice something wrong with someone we should talk to them with about it. Also if we feel like we have rage perhaps go to anger management or bring up our self esteem by talking to a professional. Also we should try to ignore others comments.

Some of the causes might be he was made fun of a lot becuase of the way he looked, the way he was, and where he was from. I think they led him to the point where he just went into a depression. He had to take so much all his life and i guess he just got tired. His family really didn't have any money and he would just get tired of the other guys having nice stuff and him not having anything. he probably had no friends and it was tuff for him to go to school everyday not having friends and being made fun of so it came to the point were his mentality was violent and to go against everybody no matter if they didn't do anything to him. what we can do to prevent this kinda stuff is if u see someone thats different than u don't put them down just keep it to ur self cuz words can really hurt someone and if u see someone really depresed try and get them help to prevent something like this.

well first of all that man a phsycho!he had already been in mental instituion.i saw the news and it said that he was a loner thats liked strange things.what we could do is look for signs for crazy people.get a councler to talk to them and professional help.and also if someone tells u oh ima kill someone let someone now maybe it could be true.
