I think this quote means that if you dont have courage you can never succeed at anything. You wont succeed because you will be scared of doing things so you wont try anything new and you will only do the stuff that you are confortable with we will never try something new.

I think that this excerpt is saying that you have the potenital to build courage.(no matter how much or to what amount) Honestly, what is something that you dont need courage to do? Absolutely nothing ! Even though "courage" is inanimate, and only a state of mind, we still need it to accomplish most of the common tasks in life.

I dont really understand but I think its saying that we have it in ourselves to become successful and have the corage to get ahead. We aquire the skills to achieve by wanting those skills and working for them.

I think this quote is trying to say that everyone has the potential to be what they want to be, but whether they allow that or not is up to them. Everyone is born with the 'want' of doing something, but they have to use their courage to take risks and become the person they are. If someone has no courage, they basically can't get anywhere.
I think it means that to do stuff you need to have potential. That you need to beleive in yourself. That you need to have faith in yourslef so that you can do stuff. That it is good. to have courage so that is how people do stuff.
