I don't believe ... that history repeats itself. There is no cycle. History is permanently doing the same thing. Sometimes we don't notice what's going on, that's all--and sometimes we have no choice but to see.

i think this quote is kinda true in a way in all types of forms like musik cloth ect.. but as times goes on new things start to arive but some how interact with the old style and stuff.
and sometimes its not our decions but we just have to go along with it.

I think it depends on the problem that history might repeat itself. And sometimes we cant see what is happening has been done before or we just can't do nothing about it.
I do somewhat agree with this quote because history is repeating itself by the clothes from back in the day coming into style again now days, and also music, shoes, hairstyles, etc. However, there is new things that are coming out now that weren't back in the days. Such as, cell phones, computers, etc.

i think this comment is so true because alot of stuff does repeat itself. like for instance like back in the day when skinny jeans where in. know all of a sudden you see a bunch of kids wearing all this different color skinny jeans.

i agree with this quote because like the troubles that we have now are like the ones we had many years ago an ex. is The Great Depresion when people where getting fired and many people were going broke and they couldn't maintain there familys and now it's happing agian in this year of 2008-2009.

i dont belive in what this passage says because i belive history does repeat itself in someway. like for example theres still plenty of racisism out in the world especially now that we have a black president.i also belive that in order for history not to repeat itself we need to fix our mistakes that we've made in the past in order to make our future better.

I think this quote is trying to say that things don't exactly repeat, but they do somehow turn up again. We basically use our past as a basis, and therefore we have some blend of older times in with what we have now. In a sense, things can turn up again, but the difference is that it's not a repeat, but a similarity.
