first of all i think it will be tough to try and talk to someone powerful like that. But if I told him/her my concern, i think it will make a difference because I will get my voice heard and it wil have a couple of changes to the community that will seem better.

Well it usually takes more than one person to make a person in power to become aware of the problems in a community. Or sometimes even that wouldn't help. Talking to someone in power won't do anything because for some people they have to actually see what is going on so that person can actually do something to help make that community better.

Expressing your thoughts to someone in power can make a difference by if that person likes what you think or has the same opinion on some thing, they might want to help you out. However, getting a person of power to notice you first might be harder that actually doing something yourself.

I think that expressing your voice to the govt. probably won't even work because you have to have a alot of people doing it in a powerful way because i don't think they will listen to just one persons opinion they need to all of our voices

it could make a difference because most goverments listen to what people have to say and sometimes they consider that idea and they use it and most likely it depends how many people say it cause they don't really listen only to one person it has to be more than one person thats how they really make a difference in the community by how many people go and say the problem in the community and the others support.

it could make a difference in your community if they actually care about what your talking about but if they dont then they wont do anything.sometimes it takes more then one person to express the same thing you feel so they can actually do something about it.

well if you really do need something done in your community and had a chance to talk to a local government official and you try i think...you would probably fail. look how so many GROUPS, by hundreds of people, tried to convince the gov. and still not getting through.

it cant really make a difference because if you talk strong, you can cause a conflict between other people, you should just work it out like hippies or something.

expressing my voice to a person in power would make a difference in my community because it would have a greater effect because i would be talking to somebody in great power

Well usually the people of power dont really pay attention to whats on your mind and actually you can convince the person to help your community you have to give more details on why they should help your neighborhood or let them see it for themselves.

WELL, IT CAN TAKE UP TO NOT ONLY ONE PERSON TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IT TAKES ALOT. IT CAN ALSO MAKE A DIFFERENCE BECAUSE YOUR COMPLAINGING ABOUT IT AND IF THE PERSON IN POWER DOESN'T DO ANYTIHING HE IS PUT IN A BAD THING FOR HIS PEOPLE LIKE HE'S NOT DOING HIS JOB.

I THINK IF I TALKED TO HIM HE WILL PROBABLY NOT LISTEN BUT I THINK IT TAKES MANY PEOPLE TO CHANGE AN OPINION. I THINK THAT A WHOLE CITY MUST COME TOGETHER AS ONE TO CONVINCE SOMEONE OF POWER..

I can express my voice by forming a friendly ortest because thats part of my rights. I coould send aletter to the political official and hope he reads it. But i knosw that my voice can really be heard because im not a well rounded person and im not known around the world. If i was a celebrity I would be heard but ny goal would not be accomplished.

I think my voice would make a difference because I have a pretty loud voice. Sometimes that backfires because they may think that you're just a kid so you won't really be heard.

maby if you really made a point and described your point then the persont that is in power can tell the people of his country and they will listen. they want listen to you because your not important i mean bush isnt either but they will listen to him beacuse he is the president.

It would shw that we know that there is a local goovernment and that we know that we know what they can do to impprove our community. well i personally believe that writing to an locall oficial wont change nothing...They dont really care what a little 14 or 15 year old student thinks''THATS MY OPINION

12:19 PM
Blogger Alfredo Contreras said...

Well some times it doesnt because people with power dont care much about your complaints if you write a letter they probally wont read it or give you a reply that has nothing to do with your complaints. You could try to go there yourself but you have to have a meeting or they wont let you in and even if you do go in something might have to leave because hes busy or something. But if he does here you out it could make a big diffrence if he agrees to your complaints.

uhh i think that if you express your voice to people who are important around your area then you help other people who have the same opinion. that means another person will help persuay the govenor or mayor or even the president. help arrives when you speak out your mind.

if u have a strong voice in pointing stuff out then u will most likely bring in more and more problems but it would be even better if u can solve in a more calming vice so the problem will be solved and there won't be anymoore problems added to the problem in the first place

IN MY OPINION, I THINK THAT BY HAVING A CONVERSATION AND EXPRESSING YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT A CERTAIN THING U WANT 2 CHANGE REALLY HELPS OUT AND I THINK IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE BACAUSE WE ARE ALLOWED 2 EXPRESS OUR SELFS THANKS 2 THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND THEY SHOULD LISTEN 2 US

I THINK THAT THE WAY I CAN CHANGE MY COMMUNITY IS BY SUGGESTING SOMETHING. MAYBE I CAN SUGGEST SOMETHING ABOUT THE WAY OUR YOUTH HANGS OUT OR THE VIOLENCE IN MY COMMUNITY. MAYBE MY DESICION OR SUGGESTION CAN INSPIRE OTHERS TO DO OR HELP OUT IN THEIR COMMUNITY.

what this quote means is that if you want change you need your voice to make a difference. if you dislike something you need to be heard. because your voice will let the people in power that they are not doing things right and they need to change it. i belive that a voice can make a difference because if you talk for ourself you might be talking for millions of people and chances are that your problem can be solved.

I don't know but I would like to get rid of that NAFTA paying Mexicans 10 cents per fabric they work 8-10 hours for a few dollars while America gets rich off of them no-way and they actually want them out of here, but they get to pay them small amounts of money for something that american stores sell for $60 and higher. That's BULLSHIT!

i think that it will make a differnce because the people in your communtity will see you as a leader n someone that doesnt hide away the problems they do something about it, i also think people will respect you more.

they can hear your point of view and understand you that way they can help you . lets say that they are planning to make the school a brighter color you can talk to the supervisor and tell them not to waste money on that to spend it on something useful

10:13 AM
Blogger *~MoNiCa~* said...

First you need to get help and form a group of people to help you be heard from the government. Because if you work with your community then something will change because your more then one person because the goverment doesn't like to hear only one person he needz to now that more than one person wnatz that thing....

TALKING TO SOMEONE WHITH THAT MUCH POWER WONT BE EASY BECAUSE THEY ARE ALWAYS BUSY AND ALWAYS HAVE THINGS TO DO AND THY DONT REALLY HAVE TIME FOR ONE ON ONE VISITS. BUT IF I HAD THE CHANCE TO TALK TO HIM/HER IT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE THATS IF THEY CONSIDER MY SUGGESTIONS AND CONCERNS AND IT WOULD BE GREAT BECUASE THEN MY VOICE WOULD BE HEARD AND A YOUNG PERSON LIKE ME DOESN'T GET TO TALK TO AN IMPORTANT PERSON LIKE THAT EVERYDAY. AND MAYBE HE/SHE CONSIDERS MY SUGGESTIONS AND MAKES A CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY.

IF I TALK TO THE GOVERNMENT TO CHANGE SOMETHING I DONT THINK THAT I WOULD MAKE A DIFFERNCE. THE ERASONS THAT I THINK THAT IS BECAUSE UAUALLY TAKES MORE THAN ONE PERSON TO CHANGE SOMEHTHING IN THE GOVERNMENT.FOR EXAMPLE PEOPLE TRY TO STTOP THE WAR IN IRAQ.TONS OF PEOPLE WANT TO CHANGE THAT BUT NOTHING HAPPENS****

I think that because authority will do something about it and if it is like somebody like a little person it wont happen but if u tell like the president or governor or something they will probably do something asbout it

It can make a difference because if you ask the president that to fix the town or something..you would have a better chance of it happening then if you ask a bum in the streets asking for money.
