I think this statement is true because thats how politics usually work. They will do anything they can to win an election and that means they will bash out their opponent, lie about their achievements, or cheat with the voting polls. With the presidential election, both candidates have a bad story about one another. Barrack has a story of Hillary making a racial comment in which she claims she didnt mean it the way she said it. Hillary has a story that Barrack was a drug dealer. Either way, no one is going to confess to this nation the true story because they want as many votes as possible so they will only tell the positive things about themselves.
i think that this is saying that people who are politicians are so eager to win. that they start fighting and making up stories of eachother. i think this is true because that is how politics are. and it is just people who want to win so badly that they would do anything. and that is happening with barrack and clinton. they both made story of eacjother in order to try to win. and that is how it is going to keep on going.

um.. to me this quote means when your running for office you shouldnt be suprised if you find out that someone else running against you commited slander. Your opponents will do and say anything in order to make your supporters turn against you.

This speech is true because politicians always focus on winning their campaign. Most politicians are good liars because they have to be good liars to win a campaign and be presidents.
This is true. People asume that everything politicians say it's true. But it really is not. Politicians use what ever type lie to get voters to vote for them. So it's not surprising the types f lies that are said. But it reality they are only hurting themselves. When people finally find out the truth they start to not have confidence in the lying candidate, making it a real possibility that they would lose in whatever election.

i think its true but its not right.This statment is agreeable because well politics keep things to themselves and things stay confidential but i believe that

i disagree with this statement thats like starting a rumor about someone so they could like you more. This is wrong you are one giving poeple false information on the opposing party or person and two your false information might change poeples view of that person which is what you wanted in the first place but that could drastically change that person's life. I think this is true because people running for anything even politics usually use false statements that can mnake people feel bad or something and other people do nothing about it. People like the ones running for presidents are usually finding out information that will make the competitor or rival look bad so that the people voting wont pick that person. And the rivals usually dont do anything to that person they just go and find something that will make the other person look bad to so it goes on and on. I do believe this statement is true because that is how candidates do run for their office. They talk about all the good things about themselves and try to leave as much negative things about themselves out of their speeches, interviews, etc. Once they see that another one of the candidates are doing well then they start to feel the competition and get competitive. I think that this quote is true because, politicians are always teling untrue stories about each other back and forth , back and forth, trying to make each other look better than the other(s). But i really don't understand why they would hurt each other so badly by bringing up the untold past, if in the end we are the ones that will suffer or take in the consequence since we are the ones that are going to affected by their decisions in office. We the poeple elect certain politicians for office, because we feel that they will fulfill our required needs, our demands, and even do much more that we didnt think of that are "qoute in qoute" good for our society. And sometimes when a certain politician wins, he/she does not in any way do what he she fibbed, it will be us that will be affected, not the other politicians, as they already have their own glamourous lives and dont really need to do much, as they wont be entirely affected.
I think this quote is true because when you are running to be the president of the United States or any kind of strong political power you should always expect the worst. People may be attacking you through speech but it's part of this race for the entire power of one nation: one country. It's the fight for political power and as long as they do not abuse you in any physical way, they can do whatever they want. It's the real world and you should know if you're ready especially if you are trying to for presidency. You are going to have to face alot of responsibilities and if you earn it, it means you are fit to be one of the most responsible people of the world. You can control one whole country with the power of presidency and to get there you'll definitely face people that attack you with false accusations. They think if they can hurt you mentally then that will knock you off the race but that's only when you are not enduring person. A person fit to be president should take the hits and come back with better ways to get the votes of the people. In the running for president, you must face alot of things and you'll just have be face to face with the real world and you be the controller of your destiny to being president or just losng the chance.

i think that this statement is trying to say that people do what is necessary to get wherever they want. that's the way that politicians work, they talk about doing the best for us and then they don't or they talk bad of each other to win and that's how it work for them. like Hilary they say that she talk bad things about obama and we don't know if it is true or not. and that is how they are going to keep doing it.
i think that this is saying that people who are politicians are so eager to win. they would go through anything in order to win. they are so eager to win, they will lie on just about anything to anybody. they might evn say that the president died or that he resigned or that they should drop him and elect a new one. they will just lie and they wont even care not even one bit. they dont deserve to be politicians if they are going to lie all the time. one day they are going to say the truth snd no one will believe them because of all of their lies.

well i guess that they would do watever it takes to win the election...i don't really think that they said it to be honest about it they only say it to get ppl to vote for them which in that case its not good becuz we don't want danger in our country we don't want terrorists attacking us...i kno that ppl would like the prices to lower down and if one of them say that i sure that ppl would vote for them but yet they would only say it to win cuz dats the only thing they actually care about... yea soo dats it

i think that this statement is true because when you run for president or something and you reaally want to win you would do anything just to make your opponent look bad so that you have the upper hand and i think thats its wrong to do something like that because whats the point. it would be better if you just faught fairly so that if they win anyways you it wont matter that much to you because you know that you gave it your all and if thats not good enough than at lease you didnt go through a lot trying to find bad stuff about your opponent to uwse against them. to me i would be more mad that i spent all that money on finding dirt on them then i would be because i lost the election. but people think different and if they want to waist their time on pointless stuff like that then thats them.
yes i think the quotue is true, but it is the wrong way to live.So people are bascailly saying it okay to destroy someone elses chances so you can come on top. Thats the easy way out oif things instead being a good human and just take the harder way.To me its better to doit the harder way cause you come out of things with more benifeits.when you take thee easy way you become weaker and not as skilled as the person who took the high road.
