I agree with this qoute because if we start taking shortcuts in our socities our society will only get half of the job done. So in order for our society to prosper and thrive we must do our jobs in completeicity and we must not get hypnotized or mezmerized by the people who take shortcuts in a daily basis.

But if we don't pay attention and start getting lazy than we will not know about the cantidates and who to vote for. and we will have a bad government and politics.
i think that this is true because who wants a lazy goverment that does not function well.the lazy goverment will always find the easy ways out of many things. that easy way not always be the best for its nation. that little shorcut may make the nation worse than what its is already. so to be a good and really functioning nation you need a good goverment that actually wants its nation to succeed instead of seeing it fall. so the goverment has to try hard and not be lazy and take the shortcuts. what they need to do is try not to become lazy and try there hardest so that the nation will rise instead of fall.

i agree with this quote because not jus gettin lazy as a democracy but in other things to and people start to complain when things dnt go r4ight but they r the ones part of the problem and plus on top of all of that i think people shouldent be in the thinig if their gonna get lazy cause that doesnt help anybody

I agree because I think success takes patience not using shortcuts and good thinking which results in better government and leadership. this is true because when you pay attention you know whats going on and understand the capabilities. but as a whole now we aren't really payinattention so are leadership is not that strong right now

I think what this quote is true because it makes sense. Just like us, when we get lazy, we tend to take shortcuts because we want to do as less work as we can. But when you are informed about things, then you tend to try since you know what the information is about. For example, with homework. When people don't pay attention in class and don't read the information they have to read. Then when it is time to do the homework, they dont know what to do. So, what alot of people do is not do it, then they go up to someone who did do their work and ask to copy them. So yea that is why i think tihs quote is true.

Barack is absolutely right. When we start paying attention to who is running for what and what they're stands are on certain issues, for example the biggest issue today is the Iraqi war. If you pay attention to all this you will be able to pick a good leader and vote for them based on what you've seen. But when people get lazy they don't pay attention to all this. I agree with this quote because I do believe if we had more people wanting to be involve in our environment we can actually have a good leadership and that can get other people involve on whats going on and maybe they would want to help. But if we don't keep up what were doing then we are going to have a bad goverment because no one is going to want to be involved in what we want to do with society and is going to eventually fall apart.

is like if we start paying attention to the good things and bad, the government will not do such things like shortcuts that only gave us disaster in the community, the society use shortcuts to make it easy for them but an easy way is not always better, some of the shortcuts could solve some problems, our government is going to be lazy but if we pay attention then that would reflect our government.
i agree with this quote because i think its saying taht if ppl pay more attention to the government then they make better choices. in the other hand the ppl who dont pay attention to the government those are the ppl who make stupid choices.
This is soooo compltelty true. With hard work comes great results and and with lazy effort comes and messed up economy. We can tell we have a mseed up economy. Our nation is in alot of debt and our nation is in major trouble. We are in war and that is not a good thing to be in.
Life shoould be about enjoying life in general and not having to sacrifice your life for a leader who isnt responsible.
i agree because if people dont pay attention they will not know what is going to now what is going on in the world around them. and if they pay close attention are government can make some good moves on the state and improve the way we live. they can make are lives good if they pay attention and on the other hand they can make are lives bad.

that is true because if u do pay attention , then like the government i guess will be a good government,and will make the best and the right choices..and when u get lazy. u will like wanna do nothing and take the easy ways and doing it wrong.and have a mest up government....

i agree. with this quote because its like if you don't pay attention to tests and study and try to get an "a" on them your grade will go down.I think that the government is really important so it has to be strong but right now its being lazy and not wanting to cooperate together for one purpose
