i agree with this quote...because nobody not everyone starts off with the same "starting line" when beginning his/her race to the finish. Some people start off late, meaning they were very behind and have to work even harder, stronger, than others. SOme might start off at the beginning of the race and work their way to the end, encountering sum problems/obstacles here and there. And then there will be those who have the opportunity to get a head-start in the race, to get that extra push and have almost everything given/thrown to them. they might not have as many issues to deal with, eventually being at the end of the finish line, at the top of his/her career. i think that this quote is very accurate and makes a great point. no one knows where you come from so no one knows how hard it is to get to where you are in the end. so peoples paths could have been harder to walk on then most. you cant tell the character of some just by who they are for a career or place in the world. you dont have to be famous to be a important person. some might put thier faith in you and just one person doing that makes you the as important as you need to be. their are different kinds of life that people want to live and in different peoples perspective they are varining in succes.

This is true because you could get an A in class, but you always get A's. And someone could come from getting F's to getting A's and that makes it a harder journey.

i agree with this quote...because nobody not everyone starts off with the same "starting line" when beginning his/her race to the finish. Some people start off late, meaning they were very behind and have to work even harder, stronger, than others. SOme might start off at the beginning of the race and work their way to the end, encountering sum problems/obstacles here and there. And then there will be those who have the opportunity to get a head-start in the race, to get that extra push and have almost everything given/thrown to them. they might not have as many issues to deal with, eventually being at the end of the finish line, at the top of his/her career. HLiving luxurious. The others however, the ones in the same race, finished, yet without living the luxurious life as the first. Yet it shouldnt matter what they accomplished at the end, but the way they went through everything through alot, to be able to say that they are at the "end", of their journey.

I believe this quote is true. One might try there hardest to get somewhere in life but someone else's luck might be better than your work. For example, lets say that there is this very hardworking boy. He always does his work and challenges himself in evvery subject that there is. He wishes to be a doctor but the hood where he stay at reflects differently. HE has to babysit and always watch his back and his siblings'. Time comes for applications, he doesnt have the money to pay for college no cpmputer to get scholarships. Here comes this lazy person who is filthy rich and is accepted to this college. The boy had a hardder journey to travel through and therefore should be judged by that and not were he couldnt go.
